Together Training premises at West Herts College to close from Monday

Following Government guidance, the Together Training office based in the Business Lounge at West Herts College will be closed at the end of the day on Friday 20 March.


We are continuing to monitor information from Government regarding schools and colleges and we will keep you up to date with any further developments.


In the meantime all staff will be working remotely and are contactable via the usual channels.


All masterclasses previously delivered on site will now be moved online. Please get in touch with your Learning Coach to find out more details about this.


We ask all of our employers, stakeholders and apprentices to be mindful of the latest advice from which is available here.

Warner Bros Studio Tour celebrates apprentices

Managing Director of Together Training John McMahon joined Learning & Organisational Development Manager at Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden, Nicola Hammond, for the annual Apprenticeship Awards.

The award ceremony commemorated their large selection of apprentices including those who are currently completing the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner offering from Together Training.

Together Training helps Camelot develop apprentices

Together Training were joined by the Apprenticeship team from Camelot Group at the Business Lounge in West Herts College recently. The Camelot team were on site filming Managing Director John McMahon to discuss the new management apprenticeships due to be undertaken by a myriad of staff at the company.

Together Training supports local apprentice 'kick start' his career

Together Training has supported a former West Herts College student to secure an apprenticeship, helping him kick-start his career. 


Nathan, who recently finished his studies in Engineering, had ambitions of a future in construction management. Nathan approached Together Training’s Managing Director, John McMahon, for assistance in his next step.

Together Training delivers talks with TUI and LLA

​Together Training, London Luton Airport and TUI Group join forces to deliver an apprenticeships workshop at Barnfield College in Luton.

Sharing information about how the different companies structure apprenticeships in the industry, students were able to learn more about the sectors career options.

New website will boost Herts tourism sector

Late last year (2019), the new tourism website Visit Herts launched. To help promote the hospitality/tourism sector in the local area, Visits Herts are working on a section called 'career paths'.

Level 6 Career Practitioner launches

In November Together Training's

Managing Director John McMahon launched the new Level 6 Career Practitioner course. 

Throughout the latest OFSTED report, Together Training were praised for employing 'well-qualified' and 'appropriate' Learning Coaches to deliver apprenticeship offering. 

Unlocking the levy transfer for local SME

Apprenticeships provider Together Training has supported the first Hertfordshire SME employer to gain access to a fully funded apprenticeship programme via the levy transfer scheme.

Together Training and the University of Hertfordshire worked together to transfer some of their apprenticeship levy to a local company JHP Electrical.
