John is the Managing Director of Together Training, appointed in July 2017.
John was the Director of Curriculum and Apprenticeships at West Herts College and during this time he amassed extensive knowledge of the levy. John is able to help businesses identify how apprenticeships can provide efficient, cost-effective training solutions. Playing a fundamental role in developing the approach to apprenticeship provision at West Herts College, John has more than 15 years experience within the education, training and apprenticeship arena.
Bev is a skilled and inspirational trainer, coach and mentor with a wealth of experience within the public and private learning provider sector. Specialising in Leadership and Management skills, Bev has worked with all levels of management throughout her career.
Communication and influencing skills are specialisms of Bev alongside leadership and team building. Bev achieved her NLP Master Practitioner and Master Coach qualification ten years ago. Prior to 25 years in leadership, Bev worked in insurance.
Learning Coach in Leadership
Sue has over 20 years experience in management including senior/ strategic management and leading an established charity. Sue was the Programme Manager for Business Training Services (a trading entity of Godalming College) and is a qualified assessor, Internal Quality Assurer and Trainer.
Sue has a Level 7 CMI qualification in Executive Management which she has utilised to form part of an MBA. She has considerable experience of working with the Civil Service and Cambridge University delivering CMI Level 3 and 5 and Level 4 Business Administration.
Learning Coach in Leadership
Pankajni brings a wealth of senior management experience - Head of Essex Police College and Head of Learning & Development at Lambeth Council. Her career covers HR strategic and operational partner to small medium and large businesses including charities.
She has successfully implemented large scale change projects including managing teams from multiples sites. Pankajni has significant capability of managing multi-million pound budgets, securing grant qualification funding and adding value through income generation to diversify HRD business products.
Learning Coach in Human Resources
Nic Scott is a CIPD qualified L&D professional, certified ICF coach and a StrengthscopeⓇ practitioner. Nic has experience in senior management within the retail sector and has years of experience managing and leading teams. Nic is an experienced learning facilitator, both face to face and virtually, covering a variety of soft skills primarily focusing on Leadership and Management.
Through years of hands on frontline experience of supporting others to grow and develop, and as an L&D consultant, Nic has developed a passion for coaching in all its forms, delivering team, personal development, leadership, wellbeing and career coaching. She truly believes in the potential of others and feels that it is a real privilege to support others through their learning journeys.
Claire partners with organisations offering specialist advice and guidance for growing people.
Claire brings expertise in personal effectiveness, leadership, customer and employee experience, culture change and apprenticeships.
She has a Master’s in Management and Leadership, a Level 7 in Professional Coaching and is becoming an Accredited Executive Coach with the Association for Coaching. Claire is an NLP practitioner and Chartered Manager and is an advanced member of the Association of Professional Sales.

With over 20 years’ experience in designing and delivering global award-winning blended learning programmes in the Professional Services industry I have developed a lifelong passion for continuous learning and a commitment to improve the design and quality of virtually delivered learning by developing an award-winning digital learning design curriculum.
Louise is a Level 7 Career Development Professional with over 15 years experience in the Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance sector. Louise has extensive experience of delivering and designing high quality 1:1 and groupwork packages to a range of client groups in diverse settings including Grammar Schools, Virtual Schools for Children Looked After and One Stop Shops. While working for Hertfordshire County Council Louise led an in-depth review of YC Hertfordshire Services for Young People Quality Assurance Processes resulting in reshaped processes to support the service achieve key objectives. Recently Louise has provided consultancy support to a range of Hertfordshire schools wishing to achieve the Quality in Careers Standard, an award for quality in Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance. This role has included supporting Career Leaders to build a portfolio of evidence for formal assessments.
Jo is a learning and development professional and a qualified Executive Coach in ILM 7 in Leadership Mentoring and Executive Coaching.
With over 20 years experience in Learning and Development and Organisational Development working in management consultancy, investment banking and a London borough.
Jo is trained in psychometric tool Facet 5 and an IiP internal assessor. She also has experience of project managing a number of internal projects and a team.
Learning Coach in Leadership
Angela has a wealth of experience within the public and private sectors. She began her career in the John Lewis Partnership as a Learning and Development Coach specialising in project management, customer service, coaching, and mentoring to all levels of management.
She later transited into the public sector as a Careers Consultant supporting senior leadership teams in schools to develop creative strategies to ensure that young people are inspired to make a meaningful contribution to the world beyond school and are ready for work.
Angela holds a first-class honours degree and in 2020 continued her professional development by achieving a Master’s in Career Leadership.
Keri is an experienced HR professional, with a career spanning over 20 years. She has worked for a variety of organisations covering all aspects of HR.
CIPD qualified since 2001, Keri has worked on CIPD qualifications for nearly 10 years, developing over a thousand HR professionals, including many apprentices, to reach their full potential and add value to their organisations. She uses her expertise in the CIPD Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications to design and develop learning solutions.
Human Resources Learning Coach
Joanna is an experienced HR and L&D professional, having worked in the industry for over 20 years from a variety of sectors including; local government, retail, charity, financial services and technology. She has experience of supporting and coaching line managers on all people matters including employee relations, managing change, absence management, performance management, TUPE transfers and internal recruitment.
Joanna is CIPD qualified, DISC assessor and certified career coach who is passionate about supporting individuals and businesses to grow their people through personal development and strengths based coaching.
Fran has been involved in education for more than 20 years, gaining vast experience in a range of roles within the primary, secondary and S.E.N sector. Fran worked for Herts County Council as Parent Partnership Supporter and then Reintegration Officer – engaging with pupils, parents, carers and senior stakeholders from across the community to mediate and facilitate engagement with education and learning.
More recently Fran has specialised in teaching Functional Skills to NEETs and Levy Paying clients, delivering successful individual and group programmes for achievement in English and maths.
Learning Coach in Functional Skills
Mike is an experience HR professional, with a career spanning 30 years, including both HR and L&D. Over that time, his roles have included all levels from HR Officer, through to HR Director.
For the past six years, Mike has been working as a Tutor and Coach providing CIPD qualifications for a number of organisations and we are delighted that he has joined Together Training.
Mike has an MBA and is a Fellow of the CIPD.
Author of Microleadershipand Founder of Mindset Leadership, Haydn has over twenty years experience in learning and development and in particular Coaching.
His Coaching work is accredited by the Internal Coach Federation (ICF) of which he holds certifications in both team and individual coaching. His book Microleadershipwas written following years of research into the Neuroscience of Habit formation and Leadership.
Haydn passionately believes in you as an individual and I have a real desire to help you to maximise your gifts and talents and become the very best you can.
Yasser has over 20 years’ experience in learning and development and working as a coach which first started in tele-communications . Experienced in various subjects such as business administration, customer service and team leader/supervisor. He has successfully worked with learners and employers to enable them to complete qualifications and make progress within their chosen field. He uses the experience he has gained from working within the sector and with many learners over the years to ensure a smooth apprenticeship journey.
Jayne is an experienced HR professional, with over 30 years’ experience in across all HR disciplines. She has worked for a variety of organisations from small businesses to multinational corporations. For the past four years, Jayne has been working as a Tutor and Coach providing CIPD qualifications at level 5 and 7 for a variety of learners including apprentices. Jayne has a Masters in Career Management and Coaching and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD. She is also an accredited MBTI Step I and Step II practitioner.
Joanna is an experienced career development professional with more than ten years experience in Careers Leadership in the Education sector.
Joanna also has a HR background, specialising in legal recruitment and executive search. She spent a number of years working in graduate recruitment and development at City law firm BLP before moving into Education in 2007.
Joanna holds a Masters degree from Bristol University in Psychology and is a professional member of the Careers Development Institute.
Michelle is a qualified careers practitioner and Fellow of the National Institute for Career Education and Counselling (NICEC), Member of the Career Development Institute (CDI) and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Following a first degree in Psychology and a Masters in Careers Guidance, Michelle continued her studies to attain her Doctorate alongside developing her professional practice. Michelle has experience of career guidance provision in schools, colleges and higher education.

As a procurement professional, Jon has extensive experience working for ADT, TYCO and Johnson Controls. Jon has a CIPS qualification and a high level of business experience in supply chain management, supplier relationship and category management.
Most recently as UK&I Procurement Manager for Johnson Controls, he was responsible for implementing category strategy and supply chain management.
With over 20 years’ business experience from business development to tech support and training courses, through to procurement and logistics management.
Learning Coach in Procurement
'Fran has worked in Adult Education, teaching to older learners. She currently tutors GCSE English Language and Literature on a one to one basis, focussing on her coaching/mentoring role to help increase confidence as well as outcomes.
She has a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature and is a Chartered Librarian with over 15 years experience in the public sector. During that time she managed libraries and was responsible for the delivery of front line professional services. She has a strong community ethos, is empathetic, and firmly believes in excellent customer care. .
Barbara has worked in Careers Guidance for over 30 years with an emphasis on providing high quality information and resources to develop services. She has worked with a range of clients including young people, undergraduates and graduates, employed and unemployed adults and within commercial companies delivering redundancy and career management support.
Whilst in management at Hertfordshire County Council Barbara contributed to various strategic groups including improving the apprenticeship offer. As a member of the Employers group she supported the development of the Career Development Professional Apprenticeship.
Career Practitioner Learning Coach
Anthony has over 20 years management experience in a variety of organisations, mainly in the IT sector. In more recent roles Anthony spent more and more time in staff development culminating in him retraining as a Level 3 TAQA accredited assessor. He has been working in a variety of apprenticeships including Business, Customer Service and Management at Level 3 and Level 5.
Anthony is focussed on inspiring all learners to be the best they can be. Drawing on his business and personal experiences to deliver key messages in people management, team management, marketing, sales and projects.
Rachel is a committed Career Guidance Practitioner and is approaching 25 years in the sector. A Geography graduate, she went on to complete her Diploma in Careers Guidance at UCE in 1998 and then started her professional practice working within inner London boroughs. Her experience has covered both statutory and FE sectors as well as both state and independent provision.
She has over 15 years’ experience working as an assessor on L3, L4 and L6 Career Guidance qualifications, most recently on the L6 CDP Apprenticeship. In recent years, she has worked as an independent EPA for the Apprenticeship as well as managing numerous welfare to work and educational contracts for her previous employer. In addition, she continues to support local schools with their CEIAG provision. She is meticulous when it comes to quality processes and assessment and is a strong believer in the importance of continuous professional development.
Suzy has worked in adult education since 2000, firstly gaining a Diploma in teaching adults and then completing a further degree in Adult Education. She has worked with students around the UK, delivering a mix of in-person and remote education and training as a tutor on a foundation degree. Her Masters' degree in Cultural Policy meant that she was able to work as a supervisor to students completing their Level 6 Independent research projects. She has created and delivered bespoke training to midwives, senior midwives, and healthcare students. She has offered 1-1 support and coaching to students, qualified teachers, and new parents using her training in active listening, reflective practice, and supervision.
Jonathan has worked in the careers sector for 30 years. He gained his Diploma in Careers Guidance at South Bank University in 1992 and then worked as a career adviser in a wide range of schools and colleges in the South. Jonathan went onto become the Training and Development Coordinator for the Careers and later Connexions Service in Hampshire. He is a qualified trainer and has experience of delivering a wide range of courses. For the past 20 years Jonathan has also worked as an assessor and internal quality assurer. This has included working on all the IAG qualifications from level 3 – 6, including the Careers Development Professional apprenticeship. During this time, he has managed an assessment centre and also supported the development of new trainee assessors.
