CR&S Practitioners are often ambassadors for their organisation driving change by delivering their organisation’s CR&S strategy. In their daily work they will interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders often across multiple sites and functions. They facilitate change by helping others to understand how different roles fit within the strategy and how everyone’s contribution can impact the greater good

Overview

Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability (CR&S) Practitioners are found in organisations that sit within the public, private or third sectors. They are found in all industries and are increasingly a key figure in all types of business models where profit and growth a are a means to an even greater end, such as protecting the environment, improving societal sustainability and being part of the local and global community.

Level and Duration

This apprenticeship is taught at Level 4, over 24 months.

Levy Spend Approved

Together Training apprenticeships are Levy spend approved for investment from your allocation.

Acreditations Gained

  • In addition to the apprenticeship, apprentices will benefit from free membership of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (ICRS) while studying. On completion of the apprenticeship, apprentices will be eligible to become an Associate and in time a Fellow of the ICRS.

  • The fundamentals of delivering CR&S strategies

  • CR&S data and analytics

  • Techniques for managing and influencing stakeholder relationships

  • Communication and report writing techniques

  • Horizon scanning and delivering a long term CR&S strategy

  • Understanding environmental, societal and regulatory agendas

  • How to manage CR&S budgets, fundraising and measuring return on investment
