This new apprenticeship standard has been designed by employers, it can lead successful apprentices into a variety of careers structured around employability advice and progression into professional qualifications.


A Coaching Professional works with a wide range of individuals and teams across organisations to empower and engage with them to enhance their professional performance. This apprenticeship is designed to help learners branch into one-to-one coaching, team coaching, leadership coaching and for coaching skills to be within business culture and governance infrastructures.

Level and Duration

This apprenticeship is taught at Level 5, over 16 months.

There will be a blended learning approach to the training provided during this programme.

This programme can enhance the coaching provision in any organisation through a focus on the philosophies of coaching and core coaching activities such as contracting, advanced listening and questioning based on neuroscience. In addition, it covers models and theories of coaching in the workplace, developing deep emotional intelligence and equipping your employees with a toolkit to respond to a wide range of coaching scenarios

A progressive Educationalist with deep care for the education sector, and an accomplished background as Head, she engenders autonomy and trust. With a Distinction for Post-Grad in Coaching for Behavioural Change, and Distinction for Post-Grad Executive Coaching from Henley Business School, PGCE from the University of Cambridge, and 25 years in Education, Kirsty relishes the opportunity to integrate academic and worldly experience. Integrity at her core, she honours ICF standards, and is a member of both ICF and Association for Coaching. Always keen to discover, Kirsty cultivates the experiential sense of belonging, and growth as human 'Beings' with aligned purpose and values. Through a fresh lens, she activates impactful thinking for fostering systemic progress for people to flourish.
